Job Title: Sales & Marketing Administrator

Reports to: VP of Marketing

Position Type: Full Time- Non-exempt


The Sales & Marketing administrator functions as the departments’ administrative support; providing general assistance to the marketing team and sales management

Primary Responsibilities

  • Marketing
    • Completes administrative tasks as defined by the marketing management team
    • Implements all logistics paperwork for national tradeshows, meetings, and events as set by the Meetings, Education, and Clinical Development Manager
    • Maintains and inventories all promotional literature, meeting displays, and other promotional products
    • Responsible for tracking all invoices and expenses against budget.
    • Coordinates communications between external media planner and marketing managers
    • Acts as conduit between marketing and sales to facilitate timely routing of in-bound sales leads to the appropriate field reps, inside sales, and sales management
    • Answers landline office phones of marketing managers while they are absent from the office
    • Assists and coordinates PowerPoint slide presentation
  • Sales
    • Completes administrative tasks as assigned by sales management
    • Update CRM with sales /marketing notes and lends general assistance to maintain CRM system
    • Coordinates all logistical details for national and regional sales meetings and events
    • Coordinates all logistical details for sales force training
    • Assists and coordinates PowerPoint slide presentations
    • Direct leads to appropriate member of sales
    • Update and maintain sales reps master list
    • Responsible for tracking all invoices and expenses against budget

Required Education and Experience

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years’ experience as an administrative assistant required

  • Interdepartmental assignments as time permits

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Occasional need to lift boxes 25 lbs. or less
  • Occasional overnight travel (less than 5%)
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
